Reach for It!
This is our Spring Fundraiser. We will be raising money to support all of the great programs that we have going. We have well known radio personality Tim Lesmiester as the keynote speaker. Tim is an extremely funny man; we will have a riot listening to the stories he has from being involved in the outdoors for years. We will be sharing where we have come from and where we are headed as an organization. There will be some local celebrities on hand to meet and greet. There will be Hall of Fame anglers Dave Genz and Chris Kuduk. Professional angler Perry Good, Scott Siebert, and Goose hunting award winning guide Brian Cahalan. The event will start at 5:00 pm with social hour and silent auction; dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. The evenings fun will close at around 9:00 pm. The event will be held at the 400 Club on Pleasant Lake in St Cloud Minnesota. Masters On Mille Lacs 2012
We held the first of many ice fishing contests on Mille Lacs. We had kids and adults form all over Minnesota in attendance. The event we a huge success and we all had a great time. The event was held to raise money and awareness for the programs we hold at Dickie's Liberty Beach Resort in the Summer. We take groups up to the resort and hop on the big launches and head out to see in the hopes we can catch the mystical Walleye. We take a few different groups on these special trips; they include Hope Kids, Veterans and people with special needs.

Why are we here? As a mentor we have the ability to mold the lives of the youth and adults we work with. The difference in the way we do things is that we create opportunities for kids and adults to become successful together with out all the financial investment up front. We want to allow them to find out if they liked the activity and have someone to share it with. By giving the proper training we will help them go out and mentor another person somewhere in the future using the skills we have given them. Young or old we all just want to find things that we can do well and bring us joy. We just open the door to a world of possibilities with no pressure or expectations. |
